Clipperton acted as the sole financial advisor to Didomi, a leader in consent and privacy management.

Marlin joins the capitalization table as part of an $83 million investment to support Didomi in accelerating international expansion and positioning itself as the leading digital trust platform globally.

Didomi acquires Addingwell, a server-side tagging platform, to unlock privacy-first data collection and activation with a proprietary Didomi server-side offering.

Clipperton had previously advised Didomi on the company’s $40m Series B round with Elephant Partners, Breega, and other financial investors.

Vade joins Hornetsecurity, creating a European cybersecurity leader

Clipperton and Natixis Partners acted as financial advisors to the shareholders of Vade, a French leader in email cybersecurity with more than 2.5 billion messages analyzed daily. Vade is joining Hornetsecurity Group, a leading international cloud security and compliance SaaS provider headquartered in Hanover, Germany.

This partnership aims to position the group as the preeminent cybersecurity software provider for customers and partners, who will benefit from a more extensive product offering positioning Hornetsecurity as a global reference for cloud-based cybersecurity services.

This deal illustrates Clipperton’s increasing focus in the cybersecurity segment, following the recent transactions involving HarfangLab and Advens. This deal further marks the 13th cross-border transaction advised by Clipperton in the past 12 months.

Clipperton acted as sole financial advisor to HarfangLab, a French Cybersecurity software company offering endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions to enhance identification and neutralization of cyberattacks, on its €25m Series A led by Crédit Mutuel Innovation, with the participation of MassMutual Ventures and Elaia. The funds will be used to accelerate expansion to new European countries and to strengthen the investment in R&D needed to support the development of cutting-edge protection against increasingly sophisticated cyberattacks. Advens sells a minority stake to CAPZA

Clipperton, in a joint mandate with Natixis Partners, acted as financial advisor to Advens, the first pure player in cybersecurity and leader in Security-as-a-Service in France. CAPZA Growth Tech, a European private investment platform dedicated to profitable high growth tech companies, has signed an exclusivity agreement to acquire a minority stake, while the founder Alexandre Fayeulle and the management will remain majority shareholders.

Clipperton and Natixis Partners have acted as exclusive advisors of Alexandre Fayeulle, the management and ISAI Expansion, who had acquired a minority stake in 2016.
