Clipperton Finance, a leading European corporate finance boutique focused on the High Tech and Media industries, today announced the release of its first Newsletter on European High Tech and Media listed companies.
In this newsletter, we intend to give an overview of the European listed companies’ valuations, the underlying drivers at work and to deliver some specific analysis on major deals and selected sectors. In the first release, we look at the question of the come-back of technology M&A after almost 18 months of stand-by: American leaders are back in the buying mode with major transactions – from Amazon (Zappos) or Google (AdMob) to Cisco (Tandberg, Starent, ScanSafe) or Electronic Arts (PlayFish). Will European companies take a role in this consolidation wave and in the race to capture early market positions in the new growth territories?
Clipperton Finance has provided transaction services to the European High Tech & Media Companies since its inception in 2003, with a focus on innovative private companies but we have always kept up to date on the listed companies in our space as they should have an active role in terms of role models and potential exits for our customers. The frequency of this newsletter should be bi-annual as we tend to focus on a medium-long term view of the European capital markets and on the strategic rationale behind the major deals and valuation shifts.
