Dailymotion, a leading company in the User Generated Content space that allows people to share and watch original videos through the Internet, has raised €7 million in a new round of equity financing.

For this transaction, Dailymotion was advised by Clipperton Finance, a corporate finance boutique focused on the high tech and media sectors.

The two leading investors of the round were Partech International, and Atlas Venture.

Founded in August 2005, Dailymotion is a media company that allows people to share and watch original videos worldwide through the Internet. Dailymotion aggregates and distributes video content online by allowing people to easily upload and share video clips on www.dailymotion.com and across the Internet through email as well as external players made seamlessly available on websites and blogs.
