Clipperton is pleased to announce that it acted as financial advisor to Brevo (formerly named Sendinblue) on its acquisition of the chatbot tool Chatra.
After raising $160 million in funding to support its technology and product investments and international expansion, Sendinblue announced the acquisition of three e-commerce marketing companies: Chatra, Metrilo, and PushOwl. The acquisition of Chatra will allow Sendinblue to deploy automated chat notifications based on visitor behavior and respond to questions one-on-one via their website or social channels.
According to Armand Thiberge, CEO of Sendinblue, this series of acquisitions is “part of Sendinblue’s longer-term vision to expand our marketing capabilities and dive into the growing e-commerce space.”
This deal highlights Clipperton’s capacity to repeatedly assist customers in their development, as this transaction marks the 3rd collaboration between Clipperton and Sendinblue since 2017.
